"In the right place at the right time" – that is how the author of this captivating piece of art words the basic premise of creating a documentary about nature. His work is a result of patient attempts to capture the life cycles of a creature that can be hard to observe in concentrated groups. The film's final form is a combination of the author's compositional choices and advanced filmmaking technology. The structure of wings, complex eyes, the underwater world and other observations of fauna in the vicinity of English ponds and swamps are featured, all in sharp close-up images. All of this is unified by subtle background music composed of the songs Venus and Jupiter from the suite The Planets by Gustav Holst. (Academia Film Olomouc)
