When struggling actor Max (John Cassini - SeVen) wishes one of his audition rivals would 'break a leg', he really means it! Frustrated by a long stretch of failure to make it in the film business, Max takes matters into his own hands by crippling his competition the old-fashioned way. A talented actor, Max suddenly has roles, critical acclaim and a beautiful actress girlfriend (Molly Parker - Deadwood); but he also has to find new ways to stay on top of his rivals. When two tough LA detectives are called in to investigate a string of violent incidents involving professional actors, Max has to prepare for his biggest role, a real-life drama with fatal consequences. This snappy showbiz satire also stars Rene Rivera (Basquiat), with cameos by Eric Roberts (Heroes), Jennifer Beals (Flashdance) and Sandra Oh (Sideways, Grey's Anatomy). (Umbrella Entertainment)
