Val Kilmer surprised me by being unrecognizable and also by having lost quite a bit of weight. Finally. The film surprised me by having quite good and by successfully capturing the charm of Twain's work, even in a sense that at times it is darker than it might initially appear. Moreover, there are the excellent accents of all the characters. It’s good.
