Jack Black is at-his hilarious best as Dan "The D Train" Landsman, nerdy outsider and head of his high school's 20th reunion committee. Hoping to go from zero to hero, "D Train" jets to L.A. to convince Oliver Lawless (James Marsden), the school's most popular guy turned actor, to come to the big bash. But an insane night of Hollywood-style revelry sparks an unexpected bromance that leads to the most outrageous reunion ever in this hysterical dark comedy. English The movie "The D Train" can surprise, and that is probably the main asset of this dramatic comedy starring Jack Black. Jack Black does not really overact for most of the film, so his performance will seem quite bearable to you. But I simply did not like the characters themselves, and understanding their place in life seemed quite forced to me. ()
