May (Jessica Biel) is a determined yoga instructor who is disillusioned with her seemingly perfect life. Seeking a lasting, meaningful connection that she is missing, she reaches out to her only blood relative, a long lost sister named Shiva (Zosia Mamet). As the sisters begin to form a bond, May learns about the double life that Shiva leads, controlled by her menacing boyfriend Cody (Joe Anderson). This movie really pissed me off. I quite enjoy movies that delve into self-destruction, but not when that self-destruction stems from utter foolishness. Biel really bothered me and I longed for her to be on the other side at the end. The story itself is good, but the motivations are so flimsy they rustle like paper, which hurts the overall experience.
