“The future of China depends on us,” quotes the director of the film Sharon Liu her father, widening our view on China and Chinese animation. Her graduation film, made when she was 23, depicts her feelings for her country. Liu says: “Our memories last only 3 seconds; we are but fish in a small pond.” This very personal film expresses her love for not only Hong Kong but for the whole country she was born in. (Anifilm)
