The American Side

A modern take on film noir, but not in a way that feels too cheap, but rather in a way that captures the right atmosphere. The detective isn't quite Marlowe, but he's not that far from him. It's appropriately gritty, fearless, with dry humor. This is a film that I had to like and did like because of its plot. (18/05/2016)
