Nicolas Cage definitely has weaker films, but this one is not exactly a big miracle either. He is a politician who is not that bad, he just doesn't know where to put himself. He has his ideals, but he is unlucky because it is revealed that he had extramarital sex. And then he continues to enjoy himself, even though he wants to keep fighting for his ideals. It is a dramatic romance that didn't capture me. ()
