Teenage outsider Maddy (Caitlin Stasey) is keeping some dark secrets and holding a serious grudge against the captain of the Blackfoot High football team. When the head cheerleader is unexpectedly killed in a freak accident Maddy shocks the remaining team of girls by trying out for the new vacancy. Her success drives a rift between Maddy and her now ex-best friend Leena (Sianoa Smit-McPhee) - a loner who claims to practice the dark arts. Maddy's got revenge in mind and convinces her fellow cheer squad to help inflict pain on the team captain but things turn ugly. After a drunken bonfire party their plans take an unexpected turn for the worst and all of the girls die. A sinister supernatural power intervenes and the girls mysteriously appear at school the next day with a killer new look - and some unusual new appetites! Hip horrific and unashamedly exuberant All Cheerleaders Die is an affectionate thrill ride with a blackly comic heart. (Reel Entertainment)

English LOL, that was silly! Silly, but fierce, fun and original. Lucky McKee has gone mad, and so will the viewers who get into this relentless game. I resisted at the beginning, I didn’t give a toss about the characters, but the film gradually won me over and I let myself be entertained. Actually, those cheerleaders reminded me of Joseph Kahn’s Detention, which also was a crazy mess of everything under the sun that never had the intention of making any sense, but still managed to constantly surprise the viewer with unexpected twists and ideas, and an ubiquitous awareness of itself and its pop-culture environment. These cheerleaders are not something I would watch again alone, they don’t fit at all into my horror tastes, but I think they are perfect to watch with friends over a few beers. 7/10 ()

English All Cheerleaders Die is a fun movie, which I kind of expected, but I didn't really think I would enjoy it that much. The overall poetics resonated with me immensely, and I truly felt that this is a film that, while not uproariously funny, still entertains me to watch, even if I'm not laughing out loud. Such indulgences were enough for me in this case. ()
