From Alan Ball, creator/EP of True Blood, this exciting new Cinemax action drama charts the twists and turns that follow Lucas Hood (Antony Starr), an ex-convict who improbably becomes sheriff of a rural, Amish-area town while searching for a woman he last saw 15 years ago, when he gave himself up to police to let her escape after a jewel heist. Living in Banshee under an assumed name, Carrie Hopewell (Ivana Milicevic) is now married to the local DA, has two children (one of whom may be Lucas'), and is trying desperately to keep a low profile – until Lucas arrives to shake up her world and rekindle old passions. Complicating matters is the fact that Banshee is riddled by corruption, with an Amish overlord, Kai Proctor (Ulrich Thomsen), brutally building a local empire of drugs, gambling and graft. With the help of a boxer-turned-barkeeper named Sugar Bates (Frankie Faison), Lucas is able to stay on even footing with Kai and his thugs, and even manages to bring a measure of tough justice to Banshee. But eventually, Lucas' appetite for pulling heists pulls him and Carrie into a dangerous cauldron of duplicity, exacerbated when Mr. Rabbit (Ben Cross), the NY mobster they once ripped off, closes in with vengeance on his mind. Evil for Evil (2014) (S02E08)
Sheriff's pressure on Proctor pleased me, finally something that interests me started happening, at the same time there was also revenge on the Aryans, so I never had to be bored. Emmet's revenge also entertained me to some extent, I just wish the creators would spare the sweet-talk and further summary of how terrible it is to be a black person.

Homecoming (2014) (S02E09)
And we are back in the old tracks, Job's independent action in the church was apparently the result of the screenwriter's mental breakdown, otherwise I couldn't grasp it, there was no lack of another stupid argument Gordon-sheriff-Carrie (how many times already?) and the culmination of everything was a duel of two killers in the hospital, when one of them takes a nurse as a hostage. WTF?? He could have just put a gun to his head and threatened that if the other side doesn't drop the weapon, he will shoot himself. I almost collapsed with laughter: DDDDDDD

Bullets and Tears (2014) (S02E10)
It was yet another return to the past. The creators of the series enjoy them so much that they would rather shoot a ten-part prequel for their satisfaction and be done with it. And once again, a brawl (this time with the Chinese), followed by a shootout in a church, was quite naive and (who would have expected it) another last-minute rescue came. In any case, there was a decent preparation for the third season, and nobody can imagine how terribly sorry I am that I won't get to see it.
