Award-winning filmmaker Nimrod Antal creates a groundbreaking motion picture event, Metallica Through the Never. The music-driven feature film combines a bold narrative and spectacular live-performance footage of one of the most popular and influential rock bands in history to produce a bracing, raw and visceral cinematic experience. Emerging young star Dane DeHaan portrays Trip, a young roadie sent on an urgent mission during Metallica's roaring live set in front of a sold-out arena. (Hopscotch Films)

I haven't heard Metallica in quite a while, so I'm glad I could enjoy their awesome songs again. Metallica: Through the Never is essentially a concert film, but it's supplemented with a fairly simple narrative that carries the right energy. But what really grabs you is the music, showing that even around fifty, these gentlemen are not boring and still have plenty of power in them. ()
