Félicie (Elle Fanning) is a young orphan with only one passion: dance. With her best friend Victor (Dane DeHaan), who wants to become a great inventor, they devise a madcap plan to escape the orphanage for Paris, the City of Lights where the Eiffel Tower is still being built! A nice dose of humor, a nice dose of light drama, a bit of sadness, but in the end, a proper dose of happiness, which was to be expected because this film must have a happy ending. The characters are designed too pleasingly, but they just clicked for me, and I was rooting for things to turn out well for the main heroine. The film's setting helps.
