Set and shot in London, the suspenseful event series follows the exploits of heroic agent Jack Bauer (Keifer Sutherland). Four years ago, Jack was a fugitive from justice. Now an exile, he nevertheless is willing to risk his life and freedom to avert yet another global disaster. Tracking Jack are CIA head, Steve Navarro (Benjamin Bratt) and CIA agent, Kate Morgan (Yvonne Strahovski), who are both resourceful and ruthless. Calling the shots is James Heller (William Devane), now President of the United States. Heller is flanked by his Chief of Staff Mark Boudreau (Tate Donovan), who is married to Heller's daughter – Jack's former flame, Audrey (Kim Raver). Meanwhile, a hardened Chloe O'Brian (Mary Lynn Rajskub), Bauer's CTU confidante, is now working underground with high-profile hacker Adrian Cross (Michael Wincott). Guest stars include Stephen Fry and Michelle Fairley. The harrowing day will have Jack attempting to thwart an unthinkable terrorist attack that could change the world forever. 24: Live Another Day (2014)

English After a four-year hiatus, Jack Bauer moved to London for a few hours, but even that didn't do much to counteract the ever-increasing monotony that 24 had become in recent seasons. After a couple of sneak peeks at the series you can predict most of the twists and turns, which still follow an established formula, but the brisk pace keeps it moving along nicely. Instead of 24 hours, this time we only spend 12 hours with Bauer. This makes the pace even faster, but it's as if there's no time for psychology in the big rush. The personal storylines are kept to a minimum and any relationships between the characters are only sketched out (Bauer himself surprisingly doesn't get much space), so the result is a slightly sterile action ride. A must for hardcore fans of 24 (like me). For others it probably won't say much. ()
