English Good actors simply can't save everything, as we can see quite often. "Phantom" is one of those films where the characters have quite a potential, but it is ultimately not utilized well. It turns out that the submarine environment is seriously exhausted and there is not much to discover in it anymore. It is claustrophobic, sometimes suspenseful, but very little. In the end, it's just life in a submarine, which doesn't end in any great way. Acceptable, but rather less than more. ()
