Deep Red

The bloody kills and red herrings come thick and fast as horror maestro Dario Argento weaves a twisted web of voyeuristic intrigue in this acclaimed 'slasher' classic. English pianist Marcus Daly (David Hemmings) becomes the sole witness to a murder when a sinister killer, notable for wearing black gloves, slashes a psychic to death with a hatchet. Interminably haunted by the grisly spectacle, Daly sets out to solve the murder but is lured into a violent game of cat and mouse, with the body count rising at each and every line of enquiry. Teaming up with feisty reporter Gianna Brezzi (Daria Nicolodi) the two evade numerous attempts on their lives by the unseen killer, hell bent on keeping a dark secret buried.
