Nima, a young Tibetan, is thrown into a tragedy that makes him feel so guilty that he sets out on a pilgrimage to Lhasa across the torrid and freezing Gobi desert. He is joined by an older man, who interrupts his own trip to make sure that the youngster will not lose his soul in the desert. This directorial debut of the cinematographer Sonthar Gyal is a visually breathtaking journey to the depths of grief and regret. (Skábmagovat-elokuvajuhla)
