Watch the Skies! is an entertaining rather than informative documentary in which a quartet of famous sci-fi enthusiasts recall what happened to them when, as small boys, they first saw giant man-eating ants. Among other things. For example, they watched the same movies, and it is apparent from their commentary why each of them chose a different path. Very simply said, there is the enthusiastic Spielberg, who enlivens the experience of child viewers with his tributes to similar films, the deep-thinking Cameron, exploring the relationship between man, technology and nature, the technophile Lucas and the rational Scott.
