English The Big Bang is a hallucinogenic thriller hybrid with the strong stench of a B-movie. And I don’t mean just the illumination as from a TV hustler film from the 1980s or awkward camera angles, but also the selection of certain actors and the portrayal of their characters. Had it not been for some of Antonio Banderas’ catchphrases and the frantic plot development in the last third, which arouses the audience’s interest in how it will all turn out, the result would have been truly tragic. To base such a cheap-looking film on sophisticated flashback narration of a story full of questions is hara-kiri in itself. ()
