Outside Texas City, Texas lies a wasteland, the killing fields. Is this the final resting place of 60 missing women? Nearly 3 decades of unsolved disappearances. When a street kid Little Annie (Chloë Grace Moretz) goes missing, the detective who has taken her under his wing, New York transplant Brian Heigh (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) can feel she's in The Killing Fields and knows he's got to go in after her. His Texan partner, hard-nosed homicide Detective Mike Souder (Sam Worthington) knows he's got to go in after Brian. What they don't know is if once there in The Killing Fields, will any of them come out alive? Filmed in New Orleans following the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina to replicate the desolate and haunting place, Texas Killing Fields was co-produced by Michael Mann and directed by his daughter Ami Canaan Mann.
