A ticking time-bomb insomniac (Edward Norton) and a slippery soap salesman (Brad Pitt) channel primal male aggression into a shocking new form of therapy. Their concept catches on, with underground 'fight clubs' forming in very town, until a sensuous eccentric (Helena Bonham Carter) gets in the way and ignites an out-of-control spiral towards oblivion.
