Lily, 31, an average woman with an average life, is pretty, friendly, and does well at her job. But one facet of Lily's life is totally abnormal — her mother. Moving back in with her sick mother Inez, to help take care of her, she now can’t get away. Her mother is a lonely and bitter woman after her husband left years ago and she has tangled such a web of guilt and lies around Lily, that she is too scared to leave.
