A powerhouse cast brings to life one of the most astonishing untold true action stories of World War II... This is an epic tale of family, honour, vengeance and salvation, where three brothers turn defiance into victory. It is 1941. The 'final solution' is in full effect and the Jews of Eastern Europe are being slaughtered on mass. The Bielski brothers (Daniel Craig, Liev Schreiber and Jamie Bell) have managed to escape this massacre and seek refuge in the densely wooded forest they have known since childhood. At first, survival is all that matters, but they soon build a hidden life deep in the forest.
