English I'm just starting to sniff around Japanese filmmaking, and I have to admit I quite like it. I really liked the script. Time travel doesn't always turn out well, but it really worked here. The countdown tattoo was an especially nice touch. The music was the best part of the entire movie in my opinion. A nice 4 stars... A few weeks later, I still have the movie on my mind and I think about it often. I guess it left something deeper in me. ()

English I was afraid of a different ending, I was afraid it would end up like Donnie Darko. I was really scared. I'm not scared anymore, now I know. It was a very nice movie; it was a good fit for today. And the kid was great, wasn't he, Makoto :-) Addendum: I woke up this morning and what was the first thing that came to my mind? The movie I watched last night. I don't think it's going to leave my mind... Addendum to addendum: even after weeks, months, Toki o Kakeru Shōjo suddenly pops into my mind... because that movie is worth it. And because I simply can't forget the movie... I have to go from 4 stars to 5 stars. ^^ ()
