Plots(1)

Four middle-aged men (Tim Allen, John Travolta, Martin Lawrence & William H. Macy) decide to take a road trip from Cincinnati to the Pacific in order to get away from their lives which are leading them nowhere. Taking their motorcycles, these "Wild Hogs" tear up the road and eventually stop in New Mexico for a drink not knowing that the bar belongs to the "Del Fuegos" - a mean biker gang. When the Del Fuegos steal a bike that belongs to the Wild Hogs, the four men form a plan with the local town to steal their bike back. (Disney / Buena Vista)

English The biker way of life says a whole lot of nothing to me, but damn, it must be so cool to blast AC/DC, get on a Harley and hit Route 66. That's why at the beginning the "wild hogs" had my sympathy (though grinding my teeth in the case of the pseudo-comedian Martin Lawrence), and it lasted me about halfway through, when the story turned into a clichéd comedy farce the kind we've seen about a hundred times before. I wouldn't be opposed to a sequel with this likeable bunch, but only with a much better script. ()

English Until about halfway through it's an average comedy with a few good jokes, but from the middle to the end it's unexpectedly boring and lame. It’s a shame, this four Wild Hogs would need a much better script, so that their "ride somewhere" would entertain even a person who doesn't care about motorbikes, i.e. me. ()

English An easygoing flick with a gang of likeable characters who are simply a showcase of the typical archetypes of American comedy, which actually lets you detach yourself even more from their crazy trip. This is nothing but a mindless ride on the wave of catchy music that fortunately lacks any cringe-worthy and tasteless attempts at humour at any price. Besides, Marisa Tomey is gorgeous and I could relate to the character of Dudley, I also have trouble sometimes keeping my balance on a bike, especially late at night on the way back from certain establishments. English An easygoing old-school comedy. Good jokes and an excellent cast. The main quartet works exceedingly well. (John Travolta is just outstanding) and you can see that they had fun shooting it. I really enjoyed it and couldn’t wipe the smile off my face. And that’s the important thing, isn’t it? :-) ()

English It's quite silly, but I can't help it, I quite like this comedy. I simply like this quartet because I really like all four actors. Travolta is also one of my favorites. Marisa Tomei is also here, Ray Liotta, and finally Peter Fonda. Yes, I'm not watching it for the story, but precisely because of the actors. And that's enough for me in this case. ()
