Kolozs Vera is brought up at a young ladies' boarding school and she accidentally meets Bozóky Feri, a painter, living a happy-go-lucky life. To make him able to see her regularly, Feri's friend, Poznay pretends to be Vera's uncle, the head physician Szabó, and once a week takes her out of the institution. The directress of the school, Miss Berta, surrounds doctor Szabó with devoted passion, and asks him to accept the position of the general practitioner of the institution. Yet Vera's father arrives from the country and the mischief is revealed. Yet love is a remissible sin, and Vera's relationship with her beloved can be made open in possession of father's approval.
