Zabijáci

A somewhat forgotten medium-length television story based on Ernest Hemingway's literary work. It's very rewarding material that has been filmed repeatedly; among others, the first film by the famous Andrei Tarkovsky was based on it. The four stars are precisely for Hemingway; Ladislav Rychman didn't ruin anything significant, the casting is excellent, with Jan Teplý in the role of a man bitterly awaiting his fate, and Jiří Bartoška and Jan Kanyza as cynical contract killers.
