Midnight Movies is revelatory, funny and nostalgic, while placing the selected titles in a broader context. It is ideal as an introductory familiarisation with the often wrongly interpreted concept of midnight movies. It’s a shame that more shots of screenings weren’t captured, because words alone, no matter how enthusiastically delivered, are not enough in this case.
