Plots(1)
Back in Portwenn, a year has passed and Doctor Martin Ellingham still isn't practising as a doctor. The Ellingham's new daughter, Mary Elizabeth, who is now 4 months old, has arrived with Martin fully embracing the role of househusband, leaving Louisa to see her therapy clients in Martin's consulting room. The newly formed status quo is upset when a medical emergency occurs, but will it make Martin realise that he really does want to be a doctor again? Elsewhere, Mrs Tishell is waging a campaign to get Martin reinstated, Morwenna has moved on and is making her way up the corporate ladder and even Al is experiencing success with his own mobile food truck business, doing a roaring trade at local events. Meanwhile, things aren't looking so great for Bert, Ruth is off to Mexico for a conference and Penhale is considering his options now that Janice has returned to Portwenn and opened a nail bar. In this tenth, and final series of Doc Martin, the inhabitants of Portwenn are back and up to their usual antics! (Acorn Media UK)
