English Steve Martin simply doesn't have what Spencer Tracy had in the original film, and often he's unnecessarily annoying, but on the other hand, it must be said that the film manages to evoke those emotions. There are ideas here that are connected to human development, to changes in oneself, which moved me, I admit. It's easy to get into the film. ()
