The story is set in 1919, during the time of the White terror. Kövesi János, a wanted revolutionary, arrives at the Wallach Resort House, far off from the arms' noise, disguised as a woman, Galambos Sarolta, so that Nurse Zsófi can help him flee through the border. But the girl is killed by the commando, so he has to take over her part. Nurse Sarolta sees the Hungarian "magic mountain" in a series of provocative situations. A world of rich dames, bored, apathetic and mysterious patients. Risking detection he falls in love with the Italian girl and later he even has to murder in defence of his "femininity". Right before reaching his goal his persecutors kill him in his sleep along with his comrade. (official distributor synopsis)
