Women in Trouble is a unique, refreshing and sexy comedy that chronicles the mishaps of a group of gorgeous women who, despite their best efforts, unavoidably find themselves in all kinds of trouble. The interconnecting plotlines include the stunning Carla Gugino as porn superstar Elektra Luxx who is surprised and confounded to discover she's pregnant, Adrianne Palicki as rising X-rated star Holly Rocket with an aversion that's interfering with her career, Emmanuelle Chriqui as a devastatingly beautiful escort who tries to convince Holy that together they can make a few extra dollars, Sarah Clarke as a stressed out therapist with Simon Baker as her cheating husband, Marley Shelton as a sexy stewardess and Josh Brolin as a raunchy British rock star ready to give Marley a membership to the mile-high club. This is hardly a film connoisseur’s treat, the plot is almost as uncomplicated as Holly's thinking, but you can relax and enjoy some undemanding entertainment. So far, it would be worth three stars. I added a bonus one for all the porn actresses. If you've ever seen an interview with an actual woman from the industry, you have to appreciate the perfection :-) Well, and as I must have already mentioned before, the porn industry is the only industry I've been had long-term interest in, so it’s obviously four stars from me.
