Episode 1 (2024) (E01)
Judging by most of the reviews, it seems like I might be the odd one out, but the pilot episode didn't quite hit the mark for me. It left me feeling rather underwhelmed, so I was relieved when it finally wrapped up. I struggled to fully engage with the story, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that things take an unexpected turn and don't veer into pet-cooking territory. / Lesson learned: When dealing with unwanted romantic attention, choose your words very, very carefully. Episode 2 (2024) (E02)
Well, it's official — I'm among the few who just couldn't get into this series. Throughout this episode, I was constantly checking the time, wondering why twenty-eight minutes felt like an eternity. Martha looked terrible, but she still can't compare to Annie Wilkes. The real deal-breaker for me was Donny/Tony, though, who continued to act like a total idiot. Watching these two was just painful, so I'm throwing in the towel after episode two. / Lesson learned: A moron will always be a moron. ()
