As mysterious deaths plague a small prairie town, young Seth (Jeremy Cooper) comes to believe that the pale, reclusive widow living next door (Lindsay Duncan) is a vampire. Seth's worst nightmare comes true when his older brother Cameron (Viggo Mortensen) returns home from abroad and falls in love with the widow - will he be next? But the truth behind the murders is much more shocking than Seth could ever imagine. (Soda Pictures)

Very bizarre movie, but it’s not exploitative of its strangely perverse characters and motifs, so it left me with the impression of a mature and deep drama about the disintegration of (post)war society. Which is something, when right in the first scene you see a frog exploding in a lady’s face :-D ()
