In June 1986, Patrick Gabarrou and Hervé Bouvard opened the DirectissimeWalker in the Grandes Jorasses north face. A masterpiece of difficulty in a 1200m big wall. Nobody tried it for 27 years. In February 2023, three French mountaineers tried to free-climb it and make the first winter ascent of this route. (MF horských filmov)
