In the 19th century the Fitzgerald sisters, Ginger and Brigitte, take refuge at Fort Bailey, home of the Northern Legion Trading Company. But the ground is cursed, and no one leaves for fear of the monstrous beasts lurking in the area. The Canadian prequel Ginger Snaps Back: The Beginning is one of those movies that I wish I had not wasted my time on. In terms of historical accuracy, I think it was pretty good, although I was not interested in the origins thing. I liked the way the werewolf sisters were conceived in the first movie Ginger Snaps.
