Paris is starving but the King of France is more interested in the debauched affairs of court. The Musketeers, played by Jeremy Irons, John Malkovich and Gerard Depardieu devise a daring plot to save France from the tryanny of this King, only D'Artagnan, played by Gabriel Byrne stands in there way.
