Adapted from Nicholas Sparks' bestselling novel, A Walk To Remember is the inspirational journey of two North Carolina teens on the heartfelt road to self-discovery amidst the trials and tribulations of an unlikely romance. When carefree young Landon Carter (Shane West) falls in with the wrong crowd, landing in a world of trouble, his handsome looks and confident sensibilities aren't enough to free him from responsibility anymore. Sentenced to community service to learn the error of his ways, Landon encounters a kindred spirit in Jamie Sullivan (Mandy Moore). The daughter of a minister, Jamie knows exactly who she is and is not afraid to let her true colours shine through, regardless of popular opinion and peer pressure. English A film that has heart and doesn't play games. People change and often it's the other person's fault… She gave him everything, he gave her even more… For me, one of the best American romances and (so far) the role of a lifetime for Mandy Moore. On top of that, nice music... 5 stars. ()

English As long as everyone is kind, honest, nice, and caring or vice versa, mean and deceitful, I grinned about the fact that it may not be meant so black and white seriously. But as soon as the main hero gives the first reasons for sympathy and Mandy Moore sings on stage, there is no doubt that I will find myself in this. A sweet and painful romance as it should be, including an exaggerated final pathos, but also sincere tearjerker moments. ()

English A riveting and adult film for melancholics, romantics and all those who take the phrase "true love" seriously. Brilliantly acted, brilliantly directed. ()

English Another romance from the great Nicholas Sparks. He is the writer who is responsible for the stories behind movies like "Safe Haven" or "The Lucky One". He tries, and you will think that you are watching a real romance, where there is something more, but when you think about it with some distance in time, you will realize that he just intoxicated you with a croissant and didn't offer anything extra. Just a nice film, which looks good and where your girlfriend - and maybe even you - will cry at the end. ()
