Thomas Graal is to marry Bessie, but he almost arrives too late for the ceremony, as he is unable to find his collar button. Finally, though, he does find it (he has had it between his teeth the whole time) and rushes elegantly off to the church for another farce scene in fine Mack Sennett style-this time, because he cannot find the ring. His marriage proves complicated because of his wife's "modern" ideas about hygiene, correctly fitting show, and the upbringing and education of children. (official distributor synopsis)
