English I don't really fault the makers of 65 for wanting to make anything other than a fun flick that isn't completely stupid. And they succeeded. The problem is that Adam Driver is a bit wasted in films like this. But he did go for it and it's a good thing it didn't end up being a disaster despite all the problems. And Ariana Greenblatt is a sweetheart! ()

English A pleasant surprise indeed! A very interesting story that appears to be sci-fi, but takes us back to the time of dinosaurs, approximately 65 million years ago. The effects CGI are well done, the plot is engaging, and it's enjoyable to watch. Adam is cool, and the girl is also pretty good (which is a compliment coming from me, as I often have issues with child actors). What I realized only after finishing the whole movie is that we're actually only watching two characters/actors, and it's absolutely sufficient. There's no need for hundreds of more. This unique aspect adds to the intimacy and perfectly complements the movie's concept. So, for me, it's a good sci-fi movie that I would happily watch again. ()

English Unfortunately, the meaty premise and the very committed Adam Driver are not enough to save the incredibly bland direction and unimaginative script, which only meets the bare dramaturgical minimum to call it a survival thriller. It's a relatively short film and some scenes from the trailer are even missing, but it still feels padded and a few comedic scenes accompanied by Looney Tunes music are really eyebrow-raising. This plot would have benefited from a more B-movie, gritty, R-rated execution, with fewer dinosaurs and more night scenes to hide the imperfect effects, but unfortunately the creative ambition to show as much as possible was combined with the ability to tell as little and as interestingly as possible, and I'm not sure what and whom it's supposed to impress in the end. English Great premise! I wanted to see something like this, as a kid, 25 years ago. 65 had more potential. So many great possibilities. It could have been a solid survival drama, a horror film, an action flick for the brainless, but it's everything and nothing at the same time. It’s not bad, but not great either. There are few dinosaurs and the aliens sometimes behave like very stupid earthlings. Driver is good, but what’s the point when he doesn’t have much to work with. Beck and Woods wasted an opportunity and we won't see something like this in the cinema for a long time. ()

English From the first trailer, I was looking forward to a grittier dinosaur affair, but unfortunately the film disappoints on multiple levels. It's a huge mistake that only Adam Driver is stuck on the planet, if there was at least a 15 man crew stuck there we could have got a proper R-rated dinosaur survival, where they wouldn't have skimped on the gore or darker atmosphere, and I would currently be drooling with bliss and screaming with excitement to the heavens, and wouldn't mind at all that it's silly and story-wise flat, but too bad. The dinosaurs looked cool though, and when they are on set they are something to watch. I liked the high tech weapons and the pretty decent scares. But everything in between was pretty mind-numbing and uninteresting, with no pace, no tension and no atmosphere, which is a mystery they couldn't use. 5/10. ()
