Biography
Jan Rahbek (1980) is an animator, screenwriter, director, and graduate of animated film directing from the National Film School of Denmark. His films are known for having monkeys in the leading role. At university he shot the short films (Poor Bob, 2005), Mambo Grill (2006), and his graduation film Space Monkeys (2008), which won a number of awards in Denmark. The animated family comedy Marco Macaco (2012) is his feature film debut.
