Biography

Thomas Reichlin is an upcoming producer. He studied at the Geneva University of Art and Design and worked as a production assistant, accompanying the development of several short and feature films. In 2018, he co-directed and co-produced — with Alva Film — his first short film, Lantsky Papa's stolen ox (Grand Prix — Entrevues Belfort, Special Mention — Documenta Madrid). This experience confirmed his taste for the cooperative and transnational dimension of the profession. In 2019, he joins Alva Film as producer, CFO and partner. He produced Red Ants Bite (WP in Rotterdam 2020, nominated for the Swiss Film Prize 2021), then a feature docu-drama Like an Island by Tizian Büchi (Grand Prix at Visions du Réel and nomminated for Best documentary at Swiss Film Award, Euridice, Euridice by Lora Mure- Ravaud (Pardino d’Oro, Locarno), Allo la France by Floriane Devigne and Silence of Sirens a feature fiction film by Kosovar director Gazmend Nela. In 2022, Thomas produces Blackbird Blackbird Blackberry Elene Naveriani’s third feature (WP Cannes Directors’Fortnight 2023). With Nino, another project in developement by Elene Naveriani, he’s the youngest producer ever to recieve support from MEDIA Single Developement.
