Biography
Rick PRELINGER (1953, USA) is an archivist, writer and filmmaker. He founded Prelinger Archives, whose collection of 51,000 advertising, educational, industrial and amateur films was acquired by the US Library of Congress in 2002. He has taught at the NY School of Visual Arts, is Board President of the San Francisco Cinematheque and was appointed Associate Professor of Film and Digital Media at UC Santa Cruz in 2013.
