Biography
María José San Martin studied Journalism in Santiago de Chile. She quickly became involved in the theater world and founded a company called Arlequin. She became assistant director, after involving as actress in the fil Play (2005), participating in more than 30 films. Her first short film Shower (2010) received the DAAD Award Berlinale Best short. Her next project was filming the series Chile D. For the right to be different, fiction based on real cases of the book Raro, in which she portrayed part of the history of Chilean sexual minorities.
