Biography
John Paesano is an American film composer and conductor. Originally from Detroit, Michigan, John studied classical music with composition professor Sally Dow Miller of Conservatoire de Paris. He continued his studies in musical composition and film scoring at the prestigious Berklee College of Music. After graduating, John moved to Los Angeles served minor roles alongside some of the industry's most prestigious composers, including Jerry Goldsmith, John Williams, and Hans Zimmer's Remote Control Productions.
John has written a range of film and television scores. In 2012 he was honored with an Annie Award for Best Score for the award-winning television series Dreamworks' Dragons: Riders of Berk, based on the Academy Award-winning film How to Train Your Dragon. After scoring the hugely popular The Maze Runner for 20th Century Fox and Sony's football drama, When the Game Stands Tall, he scored Marvel's Daredevil series for Netflix.
